OSU Golf Club

The Committee of the OSU Golf Club would like to invite you to join us at some of Sydney's most enjoyable golf courses and play with fellow Old Sydneians and guests. The Tournaments are open to all Old Sydneians, present and past Parents of boys, Masters and Guests. Ladies are most welcome to join us. The contact details for the Golf Committee are listed below. Background

Starting in 1964 under the stewardship of Ian Buckle and his friends, the OSU Golf Day has become an annual fixture for an increasing number of Old Sydneians. Player numbers have varied from year to year with the most often heard lament being, “I was really looking forward to playing but was unavailable on that date, pity there isn't a game on another day.”

In 2000 we decided to hold another three golf days a year, one each quarter, in addition to the Annual OSU Golf Day, thereby offering members of the OSU and Parents and Friends of Grammar the opportunity to play in any or all of the rounds. The formation of the OSU Golf Club under the banner of the OSU Sports Association was the next logical step.

Membership of the OSU Golf Club is open to all Old Sydneians, present and past Parents of boys and Masters of the School. Currently there is no joining or annual fee to become a member of the Club, now that we have established a solid financial base and we charge all participants a tournament fee of $20 each time they play (in addition to the green fees) to cover the cost of prizes, mailing and other incidental costs associated with the tournament. The post game Presentation Dinner and BBQ is always a highlight of each day.
