Professional Mentoring Program

Introduction:

The Union’s mentoring program will run over 3.5 months and is designed to help Old Sydneians (OS) find and receive suitable mentorship within the OS network, to support them in their career and personal development.

Mentors and mentees will be paired based on their goals for the program, occupational field and career stage. Mentors will be OS who have excelled in their fields, embody the values of the School, and wish to support the next generation of leaders.

Program Dates:

  • Applications close: Wednesday 18 March, 11.59pm [Deadline extended, please apply immediately]

  • Mentor-Mentee pairings announced: Thursday 2 April

  • Mentee induction (online): Wednesday 8 April

  • Mentor induction (online): Thursday 9 April

  • Launch Event: Thursday 16 April, 5.30pm

  • “Disruption” Event: Tuesday 19 May, 7.00am

  • Closing Event: Tuesday 4 August, 5.30pm

Our “Grammar In” series continues, this time exploring the technology sector. Our guest panellists are involved in a wide-range of areas including executive management and sector-based entrepreneurship; AI and cybersecurity; telecommunications and technology-based risk management; and B2B/B2C delivery and hospitality solutions, amongst others.
